2026 Black Hills MACHANEH

On Sunday, July 12, 2026 the first MACHANEH begins. "Machaneh" is Hebrew for "Encampment" and we are inviting all true Hebrews (those who have crossed over) to a camping experience promoting the Biblical Hebraic Way. We’ll start with supper on Sunday, July 12, and wrap up with lunch, Thursday, July 16.

The gathering will be at the Gentle Eagle Manor, 13194 Alkali Road, Sturgis, South Dakota 57785. There are 30-amp and 50-amp electric sites as well as dry camping sites available with pre-registration (Please let us know ahead of time if you can at 605-423-9912). Potable water hydrants and a dump station are on location. Meals will be shared, potluck style and adhere to the biblical dietary statutes. There will be two sessions a day with teaching from local practitioners with time allocated for discussion and sharing. Tables will be available for those wanting to show and sell items related to our Hebrew lifestyle. The Manor has several open areas, and a pond, as well as The Garden of Scriptures for outdoor activities. Registration is $5.00 for a single adult, and $10.00 for a family.

Morning Sessions are from 8:30 to 10:00 and then Brunch will be at 10:30 am. The afternoons will be open for more sharing, fellowship, relaxation, youth activities, tourist trips, vending, etc. Supper will begin at 5:00 followed by an Evening Gathering consisting of Q & A, presentations, talent shows, camp fires and different activities that people normally do not have opportunities to enjoy. Everyone is welcome to come for as much of the time as they can. Everyone is asked to filter their conversations, and dress modestly. Volunteers are needed and appreciated for Hospitality, Youth Activities, Teaching, and anything else that would contribute to the success of this Machaneh.

The Biblical Hebraic Way is accepting the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob (יהוח) as the Supreme Creator and Ruler of the Universe, and all of the Scriptures that are known as “The Holy Bible”, from Genesis through Revelation as his instructions for life. We recognize that these Scriptures were given to the world by Hebrew people living in agreement with Hebrew culture, and striving to follow all of these instructions in a wholistic way as part of our lifestyle. The Hebrew people are diverse in their individual interpretations and yet oppose practices that come from religions that worship different gods or pseudo-Christianity.
